Summer Stroll is a custom tailored project based on Summer Streets, the five year old New York Department of Transportation project that closes streets for everyone to play, walk, dine and enjoy avenue wide cultural activities. Summer Stroll is an annual celebration of Bay Ridge’s most valuable public space – 3rd Avenue.

Summer Stroll encourages Brooklynites from near and far to come and experience enriched cultural exhibitions, performances, favorite author’s book signing, chess challenges for kids, young at heart crafters, local vintage shops, foodie haven and good old laughter. In 2012, more than 6,000 people took part in discovering the wonders of open streets only few steps away from their homes.

All artists, performers, cultural organization and merchants are strongly encouraged to take part in Summer Stroll!
